The finish on this old truck was worn, faded, peeling and had not been taken care of for years. You would say, OK, time for a new truck at this point.
It was completely cleaned first then the finish was palm sanded with a random orbital sander to remove the peeling paint and to scuff the rest of the surface. It was masked off and then Carlos (an authorized Vortex Dealer) took his time applying the base coat of Vortex then stood back and gently applied several fine layers of Vortex mist to create a fine texture that was outstanding.
